New Spaciotempo tunnel for Fleetwood FC

Blue Square Bet Premier league side, Fleetwood Town FC, has invested in a new players tunnel for the start of the 2011/12 football season.

In fact Spaciotempo UK, a leading supplier of retractable tunnels to sports grounds, was able to install the tunnel just in time for the team's first pre-season friendly against Preston North End - who also has a Spaciotempo player's tunnel - in mid-July.

The club, which prides itself on its immaculate stadium, specified the new tunnel in club colours complete with club crest.

The tunnel, the second which Spaciotempo has supplied to the club, perfectly matches the new seating at the front of the stadium which was installed at the same time in readiness for the summer programme of friendlies.

At 8m long, 2m wide and 2.6m high (26ft x 6.5ft x 8.5ft) the tunnel has ample space for the players to walk out on to the pitch on match day. When not in use, it can retract back to a size of just 60cm (2ft) if required.

Danny Moore, stadium manager, is delighted with it. "Our last tunnel provided us with good service so we didn't hesitate to order the new one from Spaciotempo," he says.

"It was delivered fully branded and reflects our club colours perfectly. The tunnel really adds to the sense of occasion for the players and for the crowds. We're delighted with the result."
